These tests were conducted on various mechanical mods to determine actual voltage loss, and firing consistency under high current loads.
Using a mech mod with a battery introduces it's internal resistance and inability to record consistent results. A rig was constructed to place the mod in series within a simple series load circuit with a regulated linear power supply as the power source. A 0-1 volt meter was placed across the two points of the circuit where the mod is introduced. A 510 connector/harness connects the mod to the circuit and it's voltage loss is subtracted from the total value.
